Tel Avis-based indie pop band Lola Marsh has a new track, “She’s A Rainbow,”. The band is planning to release their debut LP later this year. They have already played several shows in the U.S., including New York’s Mercury Lounge, Brooklyn’s Rough Trade and Boston’s The Sinclair .
Of “She’s A Rainbow,” the band says, “The song is about the gap between how people perceive themselves and how the outside world sees them. When you're a child, you're less influenced by the outside world’s critics; you're brave and free.
As you grow older, you lose your primal instincts; you start to fear, and it's much harder to show your true colors to the world.”
Since Yael and Gil formed Lola Marsh just a few years ago, the Tel Aviv-based indie pop band has experienced a remarkable—and distinctly 21st Century—rise. On the strength of performances including a breakout set at 2014’s Primavera Sound festival and two digital singles that were viral successes in 2015, they have toured successfully and garnered international acclaim well before recording their debut album, which they plan to complete later this year.
