BIOGRAPHY
Melina Mammas was born in 1994, in Montreal, Canada. She is a singer/songwriter. Currently she is pursuing her studies in Psychology. Melina has starred as Maria in The Sound of Music in her elementary school play, won radio-singing competitions, soloed in a children’s book sing-along and sang the national anthem for many televised hockey games.
Melina was discovered in 2012, by Cypriot Singer/songwriter/ and music composer Michalis Xatzigiannis, where she was invited to open up for his concert in Montreal, she was then asked to come and perform with him for a second concert in Toronto. It was there that Michalis expressed an interest in working with Melina. Melina’s first single was released in October 2013, an English and Greek duet written and performed by Melina and Michalis Xatzigiannis called Love,Love,Love. It was then followed by her next release in May 2014 Better Than That, music and lyrics by Melina, followed by her first Greek single in September 2014 called Pio Konta. In Jan 2015 the English version of Love,Love,Love was released. She has spent her summers in Greece touring with Michalis Xatzigiannis, and finishing her Collegial studies. Melina returned in December 2016, with the release of Never Growing Old, music and Lyrics by Melina. Her latest single, Good Time, music and Lyrics by Melina is set to be releassed
